Eligibility – | B. Arch. with 50% marks from an Institute approved by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi. |
Duration – | Two Academic years comprising of 4 Semesters. |
The admission to M. Arch. is based on the score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and all the Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India/ PGCET conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority on behalf of the State Government of Karnataka (For details visit http://kea.kar.nic.in). The Counselling of both GATE qualified & PGCET qualified candidates is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority.
Important Notes : | (1) The candidate should be a domicile of the Karnataka State to appear in the counselling conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority for admission to Government Seats in B. Arch. for which he/ she has to satisfy one of the conditions as specified by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (For details visit http://kea.kar.nic.in and click at Eligibility Clauses). |
(2) A candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination for admission to B.Arch. Or who has passed B. Arch. for admission to M. Arch. from outside the State of Karnataka has to obtain "Eligibility Certificate" from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum by paying the prescribed fees before joining. |
